Wall Applications.
Acoustiblok Sound Isolation Material has been extensively tested
acoustically by independent accredited facilities and is approved for
more than 300 U.L. rated construction assemblies. To our knowledge
there is not a similar tested product that has proper UL classification
at all.
Extended frequency testing shows that Acoustiblok provides an
impressive 23db reduction at 40Hz in a standard single stud assembly
with only one layer of 3mm material.
In addition Acoustiblok is a self extinguishing material while many
similar looking products are rubber based and combustible. Acoustiblok
is also rated with the highest score possible (10) for protection
against mould and mildew growth, is non hazardous, odour free and will
not diminish in performance over time.
