Ceiling Applications.

Fibreglass should be fitted into any cavity prior to the fitting of Acoustiblok, which in turn should be lipped with acoustical sealant along all joists and secured in way of mechanical fixings to hold in place.

A resilient bar / channel will be fitted perpendicular to the joist at this stage and in doing so, the Acoustiblok will be further secured in place and a decoupling effect will be realised.

To finish, a seal of caulk and sealant should be applied prior to installation of the chosen finish.
